Extended forecast for next Tuesday: partly cloudy and 63.  That would be 20 degrees higher than last night and a whole lot drier!

 

What’s up with Rob Pierce having to leave early, the last two week to go home and work?

Besides the SandBagger of the Week, Byrdie Club and Eagle Club, there is another club that is not as well known (because no one wants to belong to it):  The Barn Club.   I’m not saying who hit it last night, but President Deyette (Dave not Bill) will be looking a few good shankers to join his club.  I’ll take anyone.  It not an exclusive club, so don’t leave me hanging!

 

SandBagger of the Week:

 

Following up his low net of 27 in 2013, Ted Cowles shot a low net of 28.  Great round Ted!  Enjoy your new lower hcp!!!

 

Byrdie Club:

 

Wow – still no one.  I think this is the longest we went without someone getting a birdie.

Week 1

Well the first week is under our belts.   It was surprisingly warm rain for April!

Welcome back golfers.  It was good to see Rob back on the course.

SandBagger of the Week:

By the looks of the scores, I think everyone was sandbagging! But the honors goes to my partner, Len Stadnicki, for shooting a fine net of 35.  I looked back to the first week stats of 2013 and strangely enough, a net 35 was also shot on the first week.  As a league, we’re consistent.  Great round Len

Byrdie Club:

Since Bill Gallagher shot the 1^st bird in 2012 and 2013 and since he wasn’t here…..there were no birds last night.  Then again, the last two years, we started off the back nine.  So next week, I figure there will be a few birdies.  So until next week…

Eagle Club:

Did anyone expect to see a name here on the first night of golf??
