Week 1

The first week under our belts…

I want to send out a congratulation to Manny Russell, who is off visiting his first grandson - Caleb James.

It was good to see Brian Nick back on the course.  

SandBagger of the Week: 

Wow – big log jam for SandBagger of the Week … there are 4 golfers tied for the honor: Dave White, Bill Deyette, Bill Gallagher, Dave Zogbaum – all shot net 35.  Great round Gentlemen!

Points of interest only to me:

• 2 different foursome had 2 players shoot 35.
• Both had a Bill and Dave in their foursome shoot 35.
• The only other Bill and Dave in the league, did not play in the same foursome and they didn’t shoot a 35 net. 

Byrdie Club: 

Same as last year, no one bagged a bird on the first week. 

Eagle Club: 

n/a – I have a good feeling that someone will land an eagle by the end of May.

End-of-the-Year Tournament:
