Washout!

Bad Weather – 16 / Phoenix Golf League – 2 (Larry and Gene)

1st : I will be moving the round to next week (same teams will be playing each other) and we will go off the front nine.

2nd : Larry and Gene – Airways said that they owe you a cart. Next week just tell Bruce that you were the Phoenix Group that went off and he’ll give you a cart, free of charge.

3rd : This will push back our last date to 8/25

On the plus side:

If they were not blocking off the road to Airways, there would have been more golfers on the course

Larry and Gene got some extra practice in. How far did you guys make it??

Hopefully they will be done with the road work by next week. I’ll get in contact with Airways on Monday to see if we need to find another way to the course.

Week 12

Once again I would like to thank Bob Kemp for the use of the free golf carts. Thanks, Bob!

Four more weeks left to go – 3 regular league rounds and 1 championship round.

So the matches to watch, next week, will be the 1st place team of Kearns / Russell against the 2nd place team of Galiszuski / Williams – and – 3rd place team of Deyette / Stadnicki vs the 4th place team of Frankel / White.

It’s moving week – except for Kearns / Russell most teams are in striking distance of each other.

SandBagger of the Week:

Gene Patrizzi - who shot a fine net round of 30. It was said that Gene played like Darren Clarke! Great round Gene!

Byrdie Club:

Two newbies and one returnee: Len Stadnicki got his 1st bird on the par 5, 4th hole and not to be out done by dad, Mark Stadnicki got his 1st bird on the par 3, 7th hole, just missing an ace. Mike Galiszuski added to his birdie count by getting his bird on the par 4, 1st hole. Nice shooting Gentlemen.

Mike G.'s second shot on the first, leading to his bird.

Week 10

It was a warm one last night. I think this was the quickest rounds ever. I’m glad all those comedians know how to golf!

I’m just going to get into it, because Mr. Wieland …umm .. I mean Tom is anxious to see what his handicap is!

SandBagger of the Week:

Ron "This game is easy" Waid. Ron shot a fine net 30. Great round Ron!

Byrdie Club:

There were a few birdies this week, two newbies and two returnees. (in one four-some – Paul, Gene, and Dan) Paul Morano got his 1st bird on the par 4 6th hole and not to be out-done Gene Patrizzi got his 1st bird of the year on the 7th with a nice chip in and his playing partner Dan Crawford follow it in with a nice birdie putt. Ron "This game is easy" kept his sandbagging ways going with a birdie on the par 5, 4th hole. Nice shots gentlemen!

Eagle Club:
