Week 8

After the sighting of a big black bear, this gives you another reason not to look for your ball in the woods!

 

We are now half way through our season.  Can the team of Gallagher / Brislin hold on to the top spot?  All the teams are still in the hunt and breathing down their necks.

The wildlife is starting to come out. The turtles are getting bigger.  We also saw an Otter (Muskrat) in the stream behind 16.

Week 6

First off: our well wishes and a speedy recovery go out to Ed Patrizzi.  Yesterday, I found Ed had quadruple bypass surgery.

We haven’t heard back on Terri’s MRI, so we don’t know if there is any extended damage to her knee.

I told Terri, the accident could have been prevented …. if the little voice in your head tells you not to do it, then don’t.  But the little voice in her head was a man’s voice, so she didn’t listen!!!

It was good to see Brian Nick back on the course!

Is, one half of the first place team, Bill Gallagher.  Bill shot a fine net of 31.  Great round Bill! 

Byrdie Club: 

Two newbies this week: Joe Alvarez bagged his 1^st bird on the par 4 6^th hole.  While Mark Stadnicki waited till the par 4 9^th hole to sink his bird putt.  Good shooting Gentlemen!

Week 5

First off: Terri is doing well.  Nothing broken, but her knee is a little swollen.  She won’t know if there is any ‘other’ damage until she goes to therapy.  Right now ice and Advil are her friends.

So much for Terri and I getting a practice round in on Sunday….we would have kicked my brother’s and Tom’s behind (they dodged a bullet, last night!)

I hear Mark got a new push cart for golf….it’s called a stroller!
