Bill "Irish" Gallagher shot a fine net round of 30.   Like Bill said about his golf game, "One week I’m good, one week I’m bad".  This was his good week.  Great round Bill!

Well the rain held off.  We have 5 more weeks left to the league.  This should bring us up to August 28^th, with a 2 week buffer (if needed).

 

Every team is still mathematically in the hunt (for a little longer). The team of Gallagher / Brislin have a slim 1 point lead over the 2^nd place team of Alvarez / Cowles and a 2.5 point lead over 3^rd place team of Confrey / LStadnicki.

 

SandBagger of the Week:

Larry Myers shot a very fine net round of 30.  Great round Larry!

 

Byrdie Club:

Manny Russell who bagged his bird on the par 4 9^th hole.  Great shooting Manny!

 

Eagle Club:

Manny Russell who downed his eagle on the ever so fun par 4 9^th hole at TopStone.  Hey an eagle’s and eagle!  Great shot Manny!

SandBagger of the Week:

There were a lot of low nets this week but Tom "E" Wieland (whose hcp went down by 3 strokes!!), shot a nice low net of 25.  This will be hard to beat.  Great round Tom!

 

Byrdie Club:

There were a few birds this week:  T.C. shot his bird on the par 4 9^th hole and Bill "I’m back?" Oravec bagged his bird on the par 4 2^nd hole.  Great shooting gentlemen!

 

Eagle Club:

Finally, after a few years….Bill "I can’t hit it any better than this" Deyette put his 2^nd shot in on the par 4 6^th hole!  Great (Lucky) chip Bill!

Well it was definitely hot.   You know how you can tell, there was more water sold on the course than beer!

Joe Alvarez shot a fine low net of 28 and now is the Season-to-Date leader.  He edged out Ed Patrizzi’ s and Tom Wieland’s low net of 29.  Great shooting Joe!
