Week 11

Week 11 – completed.  Four more rounds and then the Championship round.  So if we don’t have any more rain-outs, our last week of golf is September 8^th.

I didn’t know Kevin was a government worker.  I heard he had to receive a grant to buy a pitcher of beer!

With 5 weeks to go,  the teams are starting to bunch up.  Which team can put together a couple of hot weeks and pull away from the pack?

Next Tuesday, Dave White will be playing as a retired Phoenix employee! 

SandBagger of the Week: 

It was over-heard that Zogger likes to play either against Tom Wieland and (from how Zogger scored,) at least in the same foursome as Tom. Dave Zogbaum shot a fine net round of 30.  Great round, Zogger! 

Byrdie Club: 

A couple of newbies: John Hemphill bagged his 1^st bird on par 4 5^th hole and Ed Williams had a fine "no putt" 1^st bird on the par 4 2^nd hole.  President Zog pardoned his bird on the par 4 5^th hole and Dave Deyette shot his bird on the par 5 4^th hole.  Great shot gentlemen!
